Can someone please tell me what model this Squier is? Thanks in advance.
Looks like an HSS Vintage Modified strat.
Yep hss Vintage Modified strat.
Hmm, it looks like three single coils?
The one in the closeup shot of the head is the black one with the CBS style head shape.
OK, now I see the black one and I think your right about the headstock pictured belonging to it. What might the green one be? Looks like there is some text at the top of the headstock so maybe Affinity.

Its really hard to see, but I bet that green one isn't a Squier
And I just told myself that I wasn't going to buy any more Squiers. But, I couldn't pass this one up.
Not a mark or scuff on it. It even has the protective film on everything including the single coils and pickguard. Not on the humbucker though.
It seems to be set up pretty well. The neck relief is good but I'll change the strings and check the intonation and maybe adjust the string height a bit. I'm not sure what I'll do to this one except to may make some cosmetic changes.
S W E E T !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats !
Very nice!! HNGD!
Man I've got a set of pickups just waiting for a nice strat to put them in. That just set a fire lol
The green one was a Squier Affinity with a really bad paint job. The pickguard was even painted black and peeling.
I don't often see guitars (or anything else) that clean in a pawn shop. This place was particularly clean and organized and it looks like they actually clean things up before they put them on the floor. Even the tools. All of the guitar cables and power tool cords were neatly coiled and zip-tied. No dust or grime on anything. No old junk odors. I think it is an independent, owner operated joint. I think that I dealt with the owner and he was easy to work with and gave me very fair deal.
I'm pretty impressed with the Duncan Designed pickups. Some people seem think they're pretty decent and some of the hardcore SD folks say not so much. I can't see any reason to change them. I like them better than the Tex Mex that I put in my SE.
Overall, a very nice guitar. The neck feels great and the action is nice.
Interesting that my headstock is the large 70's styler and the one pictured in the link is the standard type. The Lettering is different too.
Could be an later version? What year is yours?
It looks exceptionally clean and you're right. Any pawn shop I've been in puts the grimy guitars out without a second thought. I've seen some pretty disgusting (pricing too) guiatrs.
It looks like it's a 2017 Indonesian so not an early model. This thing is in such like new condition that I'm afraid to play it, but not that afraid.
Makes me wonder how something like this ends up in a pawn shop. They are $299 new. I paid $130 out-the-door and I'm sure the shop owner made a profit. Somebody took a hit. Either desperate for money or just didn't like it and didn't want to mess with trying to sell it on CL or eBay.
Nice score! Did you happen to check the price on that Sunburst Les Paul Jr. that's next to it in the pic? I may have to run up there and check it out.
Excellent deal ! Congrats !
