Yeah! First few bars and all I imagine are longboarders sliding at Malibu! Yes, it is a bit too clean but most surf fans will have had too much haze in their brain to know the difference. “Dude, his guitar tone is waaay too clean brah!” Nah they will just be grooving with a Corona in one hand and spliff in the other. Shaka!

Drip, drip, drip...surf's up! Sounds great and well played, Don. Seems like you have put together quite a nice combination with the Wang Surfboard 4 and the amp.

    Nice job!

    I suppose you could always . . .

    String up 13s
Staccato pick like a gatling gun
    Crank a Dual Showman

    . . . to add a little more grit. :D

Don, you are looking very spry and on point here. Deep in the pocket and nice expression in the phrasing. Glad to see that spring has sprung in the far north and you are enjoying the benefits.

My compliments to Jan as well, and curious if the artisanal baking is still bearing fruit?

Thank you for the kind words @jskeen . Needed encouragement as I've been going thru a bit of s rough patch health-wise.

At my request Jan's been holding back some, but I may just need to let her loose for a short spell. My inner man is crying out for some of her Chocolate Cherry Bread. In moderation of course. :D

Music and the beauty of the natural world, along with Jan's friendship, is what keeps me going. Reminding myself that that this rough patch, too, will likely pass.

For those not aware of my dear one's baking finesse, here's a pic of her Chocolate Cherry Bread...

Yes, it is as good as it looks! She is an artist. :)

In the vernacular I believe that is called having "wicked bubbles."
