Just got them today in mail. They look fantastic. Will be putting them on a refinished maple neck in a couple days.

  3. I see in his ad it clearly states to use MinWax polyurethane only ... no nitro / lacquer.

    Cheers, Barrie.

  6. Got another Squier decal for my latest SE project. Just don't like the stock plain black logo and the abbreviated "Strat". Most likely I'll start this project next spring.
    Cheers, Barrie.

I just printed mine out on a water slide decal paper sheet. I had to paint the decal with acrylic paint before I put it on. After it was on the headstock, I painted it with a clear lacquer. The lacquer dries quick. I had to paint it, wait 24 hrs, sand it down and repaint it. I did this for about 7 days so I could build the laquer up thick enough that you couldn't see the edges of the decal.

Very cool. Are these like kids tattoos? Add water to the back, stick, and peel?

However not as easy as you might think. They are extremely fragile. You must take your time and prep work pays off. Lots of stuff to watch on YouTube.
