I understand your worries, I never heard about that guitar and searched it, turns out I can't find a Bully SG that looks anything like it... I doubt someone would waste efforts into faking a cheap Epiphone, but who knows, besides the weird neck I also feel suspicious about the odd rounded horns and the bevelling on the body.

Here's a "real" Bully being played:

On that one pic provided, that neck doesn't belong on that body.

I found the same thing as @Shaytan did. The Bully is a true SG shape. But, that headstock was used on a lot of the E-Series guitars Epiphone came out with in the early 2000's, so maybe it is a true Epiphone, just not a Bully.

Have spent the past 45 minutes researching this unique guitar. Never seen that headstock before, nor the inlays like that on a maple fb. Looks like a DC body not an SG body. It's a mystery.

However... it does look like a cool guitar. IF the price seems about right for what those parts are, it would be worth checking out.

Looking at the pics in the ad, it seems unlikely to me that it's an E-Series Bully. I had an E-Series Basher for a while, and they are basically early versions of the Epiphone Specials, stripped down, two knob electrics with dots on the frets.

This one seems way too fancy for an E-Series, esp. with those inlays. And, I agree, the body doesn't look like an SG either.

That's not to say it's not an Epiphone, they've done a wide variety of stuff over the years that never was documented, special runs for Guitar Center, Musician's Friend, etc. Or, it could be another model that's been renecked?

If you knew the year or got a serial number from the seller, that would really help.
