Hope I'm not alone here...
I’d listen (or watch) this to get me motivated to finish my Corvette
But really, ANY day is a good day to listen to Mr Gallagher!
Definitely not alone. Huge Rory fan
Me too ... I posted on the "What are you listening to at this moment?" thread regarding the 23'rd anniversary of Rory's death.
I have plenty of Rory's vinyl and CD's
If I ever win the lottery ... Ireland is on my list and specifically some of Rory's old haunts.
I'm still trying to get "for the Last Time" down. I don't know if I have a favourite but that song is near the top of the list...
Barrie, time your trip right... I always miss it.
My favorite is A million miles away
I can't really say I have just one favorite.
My 196? with 2x4 headstock (not shown)
My older brother got me this a little over 40 years ago. I had no idea who Rory Gallagher was but man am I glad he got me this.
I listened thru in it's entirety, Fresh Evidence from 1990. A great release.
Im guessing that was his only guitar,, it seems to be in worse condition than SRVs no 1..
Actually it wasn't. Although I'll bet it was at one time.
Rory had a number of guitars but that Stratocaster was his main axe. There's a story behind it as well.
If you read thru the "Guitars and Equipment" section on Wikipedia, it explains that worn to the wood Stratocaster.

I’ve actually wanted to try a set of “Irish Tour” pups, but just the pups cost more than any of the guitars I could put them in...
It's thursday, but what the heck...
OK. Now It's Friday. Rory talks slide:
Been listening to the Fresh Evidence CD lately. A couple from that release.
Happy Friday. Cheers, Barrie.
