That's even hotter than the stock Epi Jr pickup. Wouldn't be the direction I'd go.

Description says 18.3k. That's a lot of pickup. Get three of them and put them in a HHH Les Paul. Split all three and it would be like having a guitar with six pickups!

I have one ready to go, but I need a host body. I'm working on something special.

But the problem is that I'm headed to Disney on Friday ... so even if I get something, I can't do anything until I get back.

Man, I can snag 5 MIA's with what I'm going to pay for Disney. I don't even want to go. It's my wife's idea. Why can't I stay home and she can take the kids ???

There is a name brand one of those too. Can't off hand think of who it is. I almost bought it cause it looks so dam cool. I wonder why they call it a cigar box humbucker

There are "hotter" pups out there. The K rating is only one factor of "output" but at least it is something to go on.

I'd sell guitars to spend time with my family so I don't compute on that one.

You're right. But I'd rather spend time with them that doesn't cost me $5000. ha ha

    I'm just complaining. I'm sure it'll be a great time. :)

18.3K? Do they drive a 4X10 without an amp? :D

I had one of those back in the 80's. I bought an old Kay plywood SG copy with no electronics, bridge or tuners from a guitar shop, put a Schaller roller bridge and Kluson style tuners on it, made a pickguard from a white plastic divider discarded by a record store and a sheet of aluminum, and stuck the triple coil in the bridge position, direct mounted to the body EVH style. I had a weak soldering iron and not much wiring knowledge, so I just wired all 3 coils directly to the jack. I put the output jack on the back of the guitar, and put a bunch of stickers on it. It was pretty cool for 80's punk.

The single coil on this Bullet is 18.4k. I've thought about putting a rail humbucker on the neck.
