This white ash body arrived with a few issues that made it a poor candidate for stain so I decided to go as close to Shell Pink as I could get with a rattle can (Pink Peony). So far, filled, sanded, primed and about three coats. I intentionally left the grain because I like the way it looks.

  2. Great start ... paint and clear always seems to be the slowest part of a build for me. You can't rush a good finish.
    Cheers, Barrie.

Amen to that. When you don't have the fancy tools/skills/knowledge a paint shop has you need to compensate with plenty of patience. Good thing some of my other parts are coming by carrier pidgeon! ;)

Off to a good start as far as I can tell. Have fun!
