Hey guys, just wanted to discuss if anyone had ever ordered a pedal with a wait time.

I have 3 pedals on order and 2 of them have at least an 8 week build time. It's quite nerve racking. Here's the 3 pedals I'm waiting on. PicsArt_02-17-06.25.09.jpg

Nope, never ordered a pedal. I've only ever ordered a pedal online three times, 1 new, 2 used.

Related conversation I had with the wife, last night....I've only actually ordered 1 new guitar with anticipation and planning. All the others have been either on sale or used market happenstance. There was one used that was sought after, but not necessarily planned. I guess by either nature and/or finances, I'm just not much of a planner. That being said, satisfaction has been high and common, disappointments low and infrequent, for both pedals and guitars.

Best wishes and good luck with the ordered pedals. I know Duceditor and some others have ordered back-ordered guitars. I don't recall anyone ever speaking about back-ordered or long term wait pedals. It must be nerve racking.

The only thing keeping me sane is knowing I went in with an 8 week wait, and that it is a wait because 1 man builds, prints, wires, and all that by himself. The blackarts pedal actually shipped in a day or 2. Will have that by monday.

Did you Hear or demo the pedals.Never ordered a custom built pedal. Not sure if I could be out the cash without playing through one first. But I am kinda backwards when it comes to effects.I just discovered the Ratt overdrive pedal, both it and I have been playing for 40 years.Hope they are worth the wait.

I heard plenty of demos, and read great reviews of each. Maybe I need a dog anyway though

You need to rescue a pit bull,, it will take your mind off the pedals,, very loyal dogs that if properly cared for can be most rewarding companionship..

No boutique stuff for me. I'm a budget gear junkie.

I don't so much like the word boutique as I do USA hand made. I like budget stuff too.

To be fair, the prices on those pedals are pretty killer.

I ordered a Noisemaker Effects Love Fuzz with a 4 week backlog on orders. It wasn't really a big deal to me. I mostly put it out of my mind until it arrived.

I've mostly got lower priced pedals and a couple of boutique pedals I got at lower used prices. This is the one handmade pedal I've bought new, and it wasn't really a very expensive one. Quite the opposite as such pedals go.
