Man you guys keep posting these beautiful Tele's and I'm gonna have a eyegasm….
I've OD'd on Tele's lately. There's another one in the Bronx for cheap. But no tengo cash.
I wouldn't be to concerned about the cash however I would look into a storage shed for guitar....
Is it as good for you as it is for us?
This Photoshopped one from my late Affinity.
Right around 100.00 worth of spare parts, and cast offs.
LOL the finest
...or should I go with all my teles?...
I have a couple Squires, a Fender and a couple wanna bees in my collection but my favorite is the one I built myself. I bought an unfinished body and a MightyMite neck along with all Fender hardware and 50's Vintage pickups. It has a natural oil finish over the ash and I am real happy about the way it turned out.
By the way, my decal clearly says Fender Partscaster so I'm not trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes.
@horax, I really should do that some time. I don't post much on here, but I'm still building(except from June-September; too hot here to be out in it). His playing has come a long way from the early days. He can play just about anything by ear at that point, and still doesn't show any sign of wanting to play lead. His voice has developed even better than his playing, so he plays rhythm and sings. He's in a pretty advanced academic program in high school and it's a heavy load, but he still finds time to play every day for a half an hour at least.
This is actually my daughter's but she doesn't play so it's mine to play
She plays piano violin and flute. Someday she may start guitar.
I'm just steady wipin drool off my phone screen... I honestly haven't seen one I don't dig... My favorite has got to be my "Vintage Blonde" 50's CV (the VBs came with the Alnico IIIs which are the best single coils I've ever had)... I've seen a ton of CVs on here, but no VBs... And I haven't seen any QM tops, either, and the tone on this 2nd one is a BEAST, but TOTALLY different than the pine CV...
(I don't think anyone will fault me for postin "extra" Tele porn, lol)
My favorite and most expensive guitar I like the cheapos only problem is I keep accumulating more.
