    Lord loves a workin’ man.

I’ll start. Here are some shots of me “working.”

A real thrill. I got to meet Steve Martin and pick up Martin Short. 8055CBC3-6380-4AE9-B2A6-C38DBBE16BF1.jpeg 87CE1F52-8C00-4070-B5F6-70F27A76EF54.jpeg
    I’m fine. It’s fake blood.

I would be sitting at a desk. Not so glamorous.

  3. Work? I forgot all about that nasty word.
Here's me the day before I retired May 17, 2017 on the bridge of one of our new ships.

Work is what I make it nowadays. ;) Cheers, Barrie.

Neat! Is that the bus transmission on the street? What happened? The worst I've had happen is when my wife was driving her minivan and the transmission spit out some gears and shafts onto the road surface.

I looked and looked. Forty-five years doing the same work and what... NO pix?

Then I realized why. Most of my most inventive work was done in a darkroom.

    Duh!

So I looked at some of my earlier and lesser 'jobs' and came up with these.

On stage, 1965. (I'm in the middle, with Mike Machat (drums), Steve Brauner (bass). Al Karp (guitar and lead vocals) and Andy Bonime (keyboard and electric cerebellum)

    Abstracts in Concert 2 - full sized.jpg

And on assignment, Bologna Italy, 2002. (I'm on the right, with my editor Daniel Lehrer, and Ducati's then Chief of Design, Pierre Terblanche.)

I service office equipment and IT for a living, which is kinda drab to look at but I used earn a living looking like this, and I think that there's more than a few here at ST who used to have this job:

A bit odd... every job I’ve had since college has a thing about not taking workplace photos (except internally for installations, or problems in the field to send to the vendor/supplier), and my current employer (last 26 years) absolutely prohibits it.
