    That's cool - that's some rock'n flamenco, specially that 2nd bit!
Like how his head and arms seem to be disembodied, floating in space.
Didn't sound quite as good as an acoustic, but WAY more durable!
No elaboration on guitar, though - what sorta pickups are underneath the pickguard sending output to the amp?

Yah, piezzo driven. And no trem spring cavity, which model strat would this be? My first thought was "Maybe Willie might upgrade?"

I can do without the guitar, but I’d sure like some of his mad skills.

Couldn't it be a hard tail Bullet? I can't tell if it is a thicker body.

very interesting. Definately using a piezo bridge with undersaddle pickups. You can see the cable sneaking under the pickguard on the side of the bridge on the pics on the homepage. not sure which bridge is it though, not one I recognize offhand.

They actually make a trem version too.

I think for $800 I could do a LOT of experimenting. But I do like it a lot.

A hardtail bullet strat - a plain PG - piezo saddles or some sort of pickup - this is a lot simpler than a regular strat !

start looking for a non trem bullet strat ( hardtail ) in the color you want

you could use a bullet tele also !!!!!

I dont think the brenner bridge adapter would work with a hardtail strat right? Unless it was string thru body?

I would use a string thru guitar for this type of project - you don't have to use the brenner bridge - there are cheaper alternatives ?

if you search on piezo pickups - there is a lot to look at - they have to be modded - ?

I thought about this idea overnight - I would use a conventional pickup in the neck - use a piezo under the bridge - and have the option of both or either and blend ? Like the new Fender stratacoustic ?
