I have the AC Tone which I think is great but has the same issue with noise/hiss at higher drive & voice settings. Does that Donner Noise Killer do its job ok?

It certainly does. The trick is to adjust it just to the point where the noise/hiss is reduced to the point you can live with. Too little and it's not enough. Too much and you lose sustain. Waaaaay too much and you lose most of the volume completely and it starts sounding weird and artificial.

Btw, it's on sale at for $31. The Donner pedals I've ordered have been shipped from a warehouse in North Carolina so I got them quick. Also the rep answers my emails quickly and courteously.

I have no ties with Donner ... or with any of its subsidiaries, including Comet, Cupid and Rudolph. LOL

And of course you can use the Noise Killer to tame other unruly pedals, depending upon where you put it in your chain.

Or as Jmv668 said, just buy a Tech 21.
