This is my very first Epiphone LP. I think I did pretty good on the trade. I swapped a Squier Standard HSS Strat and a soft case even up for this. It’s a 2007 Epi Lp Studio Limited Edition Custom Shop. The guy put a set of SD Vintage Blues 59s in it. I’m almost scared it’s hot. Dude said he wanted something to play Blues on and he couldn’t get the Epi to give him the sound he’s looking for.
That's a nice LP! Jeez, looks pretty flawless except for those two 'love taps' above the serial, and they aren't bad. Congrats! I think you did well w that trade! So, you decided the amp GAS was secondary to the guitar GAS?
The guy posted it on FBM yesterday. Said he was willing to trade . I took the Standard and a Bullet Tele with me. He took 1 look at the Strat and said it’s a deal. I just couldn’t pass it up. A tube amp is still on my radar. The dry spell has broke around here and people are finally starting to deal
Very nice trade on a great looking guitar. I've always thought the white Epi Studio was a very sharp looking guitar. HNGD!
Sweet. I have always thought the all white Epiphones looked classy. With upgraded pups to boot. A little jelly right now. Nice score.
White Studio are nice ! Blingless R&R machines. Two things that doesn't make it anything less than a great guitar: There is no such thing as a Custom Shop at Epiphone. 99% of the guitars coming out of the main factory have that stamp. The punch on top of the serial# read 2ND. It means that the guitar is a second from the factory. It didn't pass the QC and was punched as so. You often have to look really hard to find the said flaw, so it makes them great deals. I once got such a flawed LP Tribute Plus for $200 !
