Love mine. It's on the bench now for a pickup upgrade. Shockingly good quality and just the right of personal attention required to get it playing the way you like. Nothing to turn your nose up at, that's for sure. Just don't crack the sparkle finish, I guess.
Man, that looks great with a black pickguard!!
Fudge, fudge, fudge. I want one. The black p/g looks incredible. Man, I don't know what to do. Not enough money.
I wonder if they make these in a wingtip?
Thanks. The difficult part was installing the guard without the adjustment screws. Rather than a link, I'm going to bump the old thread because I'm opening up the guitar again.
Ok, that does it. I have two guitars up on FBM for sale. As soon as one of them sells, I'm getting the sparkle red Tele Bullet. I already have spare pickups ready for it ... gonna go dual Hot Rails on it. I even have a spare RRG harness. This would be the hottest Tele on earth.
Skunk stripes are added purely for cosmetic reasons on lots rosewood board necks. I think that it's a bit silly conceptually, but also my #1 is a 1987 MIK with a rosewood board and a skunk stripe.
Hmm... that makes sense, because customers seem to like them. I just assumed that they install skunk stripes on all of the necks so they only need one machine to cut the truss rod channels.
BEHOLD!!! My wife’s red sparkle Converse All Stars!!! She actually started cracking up when she saw me unbox the Tele. Ragging on me and insisting I don’t play this thing in front of friends . When I asked why, she broke out her converse!!
I was literally thinking how great one of these would look with a black guard when your photo loaded! Confirmation! So now I HAVE to get one, right? Especially since 70% of my guitars are either black, red, or black and red...
Sharp guitar. Very retro looking. Now you need an old Kustom stack in red sparkle. HNGD!
Hey @Eddie !!!!! No excuse! They dropped it again. $119.99. It’s been back and forth from $179 to $119.99. Time to sparkle pal
Those are awesome! Yours?
I'm not sure how these sound but I'm a bit bummed out that I didn't buy one ten years ago when they were blowing them out for pennies on the dollar. It would've made a nice picture with the Bullet, even though the sound may not be spectacular.
I had a champagne sparkle 2-15" bottom for a while that I'd send my Sound City 50 + through. That was a beast!
