OK. So far half of the list has let me know that they agree with the rules. I'd like to get this started this coming Saturday, but may hold off one more week as I know this is a busy week for a lot of folks. I really thought more people would have shown interest in another MB . I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I'll only agree if I'm assured the person before me includes a Klon pedal in the box.....

....but if they don't I agree anyway :D

Guys I really do appreciate everyone who has given confirmation so far, and those that havent. I know this unusall step may seem a bit redundant. But I think we’ll all enjoy this a little more this time around because in this way, we’re each giving our word to , in essence, not pilladge and plunder for the sake of all involved , not just the next guy.

Some may take this wrong, but that kind of stuff would eventually have killed this now time honored tradition, if you will. I just want this to continue. And I feel like in some small part, that doing it this way is gonna help.

Its very hard for a lot of us if not all of us to put $20-30 in when theres nothing of any real value in there. Then you gotta pay to ship it on. That ain’t right. And I can fully understand anyone not wanting to be a part of this tradition anymore after going through that once or twice. So hopefully this time around anyway, this will be great for everyone. Thanks

And... what of the rules for replacement of the box? What if the box gets to one of us and is in shambles with holes punched in it and stuff, thanks to the clumsy hands of the United States Postal Service?

Also, I am shipping FedEx, so I will be possibly be putting the usps box, intact of course, inside of another box. If you read the fine print on the USPS boxes it actually states that they can only be used for USPS shipments. Only some of the boxes say it, but apparently there is some kind of Law that this is based on or something, and it is against FedEx policy to ship in USPS boxes. Even though it is not regularly enforced, I follow the rules, so my box should only be perceived as a "Second skin".

Thirdly, do any of the guys doing the mystery box like/use vinyls?

I got rid of all my vinyls about 10 years ago. Nothing left to play them on at my house.

My pride and joy is Johnny Winter's Saints and Sinners album signed by Johnny and Edgar at different times and places.
