Saw this one at of pawn shop 2 days ago and didn't think much of it at the time but as I was working yesterday I kept thinking that I could use it as a host for the set of pickups I have in the bin. I wasn't sure what the price was on it so I called and they told me and needless to say I went down and put some money down on it this morning. I'm headed out for the wee6on a hunting trip so itll have to wait for me until I get back. From the prices I've seen these online I stole the thing. I basically got it for the price of a standard squier. Now I have a sweet place for my Jb sh-4 and CS Texas specials to go.... OMG !!! Yo quiero. Is this from the same shop that had the Jim Root?

Sucks that they won't ship. I don't understand why they would lose a sale by not shipping. It's almost 2019 !! Who doesn't ship ???

Play it well. Great looking guitar !!!

I always kind of liked those Swirl/bowling ball finish Strats, and the spin art Mexican Standards that Fender made back in the 90's. 2db34c134a830e09326f19929dd051fc.jpg 75f3d27e5f68ea5cd057455ec896913a.jpg 868-01-fender-stratocaster-splater-strat-splatercaster-203-art-original.jpg

Those "spin art" Fenders were made in 2003 and were called Splattercasters. They made just over 3000 of them.

  8. Speaking of production numbers, I've wondered what a minimum order would be for a nation wide music store (or any one else) for say an FSR?
Fender or Squier would have to have a certain amount to tool up and make it worth their while. Curious.
    Cheers, Barrie.

This is similar to the Schecter sunset swirls. Very nice.

The Fender is easier on the eyes, IMO
