I paid $500 For my MIM Jaguar. I feel like that may be a bit too much...

I totally agree about the jazzmaster, specially since the one with block inlays doesn't have a bound neck, but that Mustang is gonna be mine.

Yea, and I'm not even really liking the black Jazzmaster. The mustangs are definitely The coolest. I guess that's the only REAL FENDER MUSTANG in that range though.

I agree about the jazzmaster. I was excited about the neck, but underwhelmed by the only color choice. I'll just wait til I can find the neck from one on eBay for a good price.

I've seen people on other forums complaining about the pickups in the Mustang, but it's not a difficult fix to put different pickups in it. It would be nice if they had more color choices across the modern player line.

It looks even better on that video and it sounds pretty good too, although I would have to change the pickups because I don't like the aesthetics of the p90s.

On/off/reverse phase. Basically, you can have the pickups together, in parallel, in phase, like normal, it out of phase, which I know you got a taste of not too long ago. I played around with the stock pickups out of phase in my Mustang before I replaced them and it wasn't a tone that I found useful and I think the sound of the MP Mustang will be similar since the vm mustangs pickups are wound so hot, but I did find that a neck and bridge jb Jr out of phase make a nice, single coil-like tone.

It's not meant to, OOP sound will sound thin and harsh, no way it will sound like a single coil (even the crappiest single coils).
