New to me: Crafted in Indonesia - 2001 Squier Standard Jazz Bass in Shoreline Gold

Did a quick clean and a string change and it plays really nicely, got a great m-ass to it, have to get it on the scale. It's a little buzzy so I'll have to track that down, maybe change the bridge out. I've got a black pickguard that I might dremel to fit...

Found a dance partner: Standard Stratocaster Shorleline Gold IC00 Maple neck

Needs some help but it's all there and not (completely) abused... you can see something got under the PG. vintage style trem, tuning pegs had plastic still on 4/6, needs some fret leveling, and there's just a ton finger gunk on the fretboard. full rewire, new pots, & 1/4" plug.

    Beautiful guitar! HNBD! Congratulations.

There was one I saw at SGW, but of course, it was when I had no money to spend on guitars. :)

A freaking ironing board as a mobile bench! BRILLIANT! I am totally stealing that idea.

That will make a nice set once you get the strat cleaned up and back on service

I've been using a guitar case with a towel covering it on top of my keyboard stand.

An ironing board is an even better idea than my setup.

cleans up nice and respectful like - Stamped IC April 00 on the neck & body, alpha 500k mini pots all around, original everything as far as I can tell.. going to let it sit overnight. A few bugs to fix but nothing major needed so far. New 1/4" jack in

Ironing boards are expedient, but they wobble and are prone to tipping over. They work, but be careful. This is from my experience.

Good to know. There's nothing special about my keyboard stand but it is sturdy enough for an electric piano so it doesn't really wobble or tip over under normal circumstances.
