Finished this up a couple of days ago, but I had no strings to put on her, so finally here she is. Got some CV50 pups from CVSteve and decided to use those in this Affinity, and ordered a new pickguard. Guy sent me the wrong one, a Nashville cut. That was all the inspiration I needed. Used a spade bit and a chisel to cut out a cavity, and put in a GM 59 middle pup. Wired everything 5-way standard, master vol and tone. Bought a replacement bridge, but it did not fit, so just did a Bubba mod instead. Vintage tuners in white. Still have to set the intonation precicely, but so far, I like the way she sounds, and I really like her looks. The quack is great in the 2 position, cool for a tele. 20180620_154106.jpg 20180620_154023.jpg 20180620_154034.jpg 20180620_154039.jpg 20180620_154051.jpg

Yeah, what's crazy is only the low E and A were way off on intonation, the others are close enough to fake it :) Staggered now.

    Absolutely Beautiful guitar,
I always have been and always will be a sucker for any Butterscotch Blonde Tele.
I have a BSB CV Tele and love it, I have been looking for a BSB Affinity for my next guitar.

I like that Tele..You're right about the 2nd position..I did that a couple of times..
Now ya just need to remove the neck pickup cover and reverse the control plate and it would look like one of my builds.. lol..

That's pretty awesome. Great idea. I like the idea of the Nashville Tele (esp. the belly cut), but I don't like the price or the noiseless pickups. I WANT ONE!

Awesome job - that came out fantastic!! Love the brass "bubba" saddles, too - they just scream "Tele" to me!
