These arbors are a passion of mine. I had one stolen from me as a young lad. And last year I bought two of them. These are not super pricey. I have 6 of them now. And of course I want more. One came up this pass week for auction and it was mint. They claimed nos on the auction which I never believe. But this time I do. Needless to say I got snipped big time. If anyone ever sees any for sale let me know. I like the ones with the Kramer style headstock. These were made in the mid 80s. Here are a few of mine. 20190427_181109.jpg 20190427_181003-1.jpg 20190427_180936.jpg 20190427_181046.jpg

Cool collection! I haven't seen many of those guitars. They certainly have the 80s look. Where were they made?

The logo kinda reminds me of the Memphis guitar mustache.

Ok, I'm not gonna lie. I sniped it.

Ok ... I didn't snipe it. ha ha. It went for a good sum of money. Someone must have really wanted it.

Here are some others I found in the sold reverb section. Black one is sweet. nbzmexmtkas8nnqgdpll.jpg i5t8qua6d2dnbmmytdvw.jpg 20190813_200026.png 20190813_200138.png

Arbor is one of those decent quality brands that flies under the radar. I nearly grabbed one last week and have owned a few over the years. This one is local for $100.

Here's another not too far away that I've never seen before.

I liked Arbors, but all the weird 70s ones with tuners on the bodies and no headstocks. But it was, after all, the 70s.

The little guitar store in the town I grew up in had Hondos and Arbors. I REALLY wanted an Arbor Explorer copy at the time, but I ended up with a Hondo LP copy. We only got the really low-end stuff where I was, I would have gone ape over the nice stuff you posted, had I seen any of it.

I like those superstrats! Something about reverse pointy headstocks and 80's looks that really appeals to me.

The only experience I've had with them are the lawsuit era LP clones, but the quality on those is second to none. I cant remember actually seeing one of the superstrats in the wild down here, I guess they didn't sell too many in TX.
