If you could get either, which would you pick?
Stock without upgrades? The MIM Standard......
But, you're going to pay $300-400 usually for a used MIM, so I'd rather spend $100 on an SE and upgrade it .....
$150 for the MIM
That seems ridiculously cheap - Is it an MIM Standard or something else? MIM Squier? black label Squier Series/Traditional? got pics ?
I've had all 3. Used MIM everytime... much nicer necks, but only if i get a great price. Then SE because of the specs to mod. I only like the older Standards with the 6 screw trem and 42mm nut.
Go grab that right now for $150! Don't hesitate!! That's an MIM Standard!! You could double your money....
It's an early to mid 90s model....
Dunno for sure.
Could it be something else with a MIM neck?
What the fudge? Where is this? I'm coming out right now !!!
The neck alone is worth over $200.....
so it doesn't matter, but no I don't think it is
The ad is here
Seller says NEEDS A NEW NUT - it's cracked and a piece missing at the low E, that's why this is so cheap.....
If you don't know how to work on a guitar nut, this could be an $80-100 repair.....
I'm depressed !!!
Trying to get in touch with the guy. Gonna grab it if possible.
Don't tell all my secrets!!!
Note it needs a new nut immediately, and that can be a bit pricy if you don't know how to do it yourself....
It's better to share the link, nobody will ever buy from under you, it would be dirty and we don't play that way - and it helps us see more of the seller's description and pics. Not giving us the link directly only makes it harder to help
I have no scruples. I would definitely buy it out from under you guys. ha ha.
If this were in NYC, I'd be at the guy's house already.
Now you got jokes?
I don't understand what you mean? There's no joke - the low E string side of the nut is gone.
