I'm gonna put this one in the VM ala @Davey . If I like it, I'll get another one and put it in the SE.

    Lots of fun ahead.

Davey would buy more just to have on hand...... don't be like Davey :D

You now need to keep the eagle eye open for trem arms, you can find some deals if your not in a need it right now mode.

For money spent and ease I think this is one of the best bang for the buck mods you can do. I noticed improved tone. Probably more to due with the saddles BUT I think a set of Fender bent steel ones are like 18 bucks without the rest of the assembly..

You won't be sorry. Good mod for a VM as if you like the sound it's the only real weak point

Not at the moment. Thanks. I wanna install it first. I'm looking forward to doing this ... been talking about it for months.

BTW, what color pickguard goes well with a black guitar? I may swap the pickguard on the VM while I'm at it. Matte gray?

Does the aluminum diamond pickguard look too cheesy? [IMG]

  20. I did the same last month on mine too. Dropped in the MIM big block and it made a huge difference. The guitar just sounds better all around.
    Cheers, Barrie.

Note: The Mexican screws are longer but screw in and set just fine.
