    Decided to put all these pics in one place now that I'm at the final stretch with this build!

    I know, 4 plugs under the board???
    Like I stated when I first started building it, One and done! I really have no idea what the future will bring when it comes to pedals and my interests in pedals, what I do know is I'm fully prepared for really just about anything my playing may require over the next say 40 years, give or take!
    I mainly play at home so it's almost like a piece of furniture that's not moving! I have also thought of the future and if I'll be playing in a band or just with friends so I checked measurements and it fits nicely in one of my suitcases,so if the need arises to travel I'll be sourcing some foam to convert the suitcase into a pedalboard case!
    Currently I'm not using the fx loop in my amp so I'm not using the fx send and return 1/4" pass throughs that i installed on the sides of the board, I am currently using the 1/4" pass throughs for guitar in and out to amp and they are great!
    I finished up the soldering of the patch cables a bit later than I wanted tonight so I couldn't take any good pics so tomorrow morning I'll post some final pics!
    Thanks to all that had there input answering questions along the way, it's greatly appreciated!

    After mowing the lawn and a few other chores around the yard today I sat down to play mid afternoon and I'm only now snapping out of it! I've had a great afternoon/evening jamming to my fave backing tracks and after a nice long jam session everything is working as it's supposed!!
    Maybe some finished up pics tomorrow after work!

    What is up with the input/output jacks on the side?

    Elegance. It's not necessary, but it's a little touch that classes up a homemade board.

    So they are just decoration? What function do they serve? They just run a wire to the pedals?

    They're functional. IMO, it makes the board look nicer when the inputs and outputs are separate from the pedals.

    I always thought of it as cable management ? I have done the same thing ?

    So they are essentially just inputs and outputs to the pedal chain and they don't serve some other ancillary function? Why 2 on each side? Stereo effects?

    I don't think he posted a finished pic - I think I remember him talking options - effect loop side / pass thru side - I can't remember - the last pic the jacks are bare

    @guitar guy
    Right side of board is guitar in and fx loop send.
    Left side is fx loop return and output to amp.
    Mostly done for wire management and overall neat and clean appearance. It's been a few months with the board and I'm completely satisfied. I also still have plenty of room for expansion!
