I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good loaded pickguard for an Affinity Strat. Thanks!

What sounds / tones are you shooting for? How much $$$ do you have to spend?

Classic rock/hard rock. I would prefer to keep it under $200

I recommend looking at the 920D Custom website. I got a Tex-Mex loaded pickguard from there once. Also, you might can find a Classic Vibe set from Stratosphereparts.com.

Happy shopping, and welcome to the forum!

$200 can get you something incredible ... and more than what you need to spend. Here's a video of someone using Rocknrguitars' base $65 unit. Sounds fantastic !!! Gilmour Mod, 7 way switch, alnico pups ....

I like that sound. Where can I get one of those? How hard are these to install?

Here's the one that he has up on ebay at the moment:

    http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-5...0001&campid=5338148356&icep_item=233403925081

The pictures say it all. Best $65 you'll ever spend. If you don't like the pickguard color, you can always hit him up for another color.

Very easy to install. All my Squiers have his units on them. I even have some spare units waiting for new guitars. :)
