I'm always looking for new ways to setup my studio room. it's not easy getting everything organized. It's a constant work in progress. Share yours here so we can get some new ideas that may help the organization and work flow.
I just got done reorganizing mine.

Nice space! I would share but mine is currently a mess in a corner until my son goes back to college, so no pics!:)

When I left the rat race of working abroad about 3 years ago, I took a nice boring gig as a engineer/designer/technical writer working from home. About the same time I picked up playing guitar. I claimed what was originally a spare bedroom/laundry room/etc. and set up shop. One side has most of my guitar stuff, the other side is more for business. It's not exactly what you would call a "studio", but its where a lot of guitars get played.

Anyway, welcome to my little place...

Very nice clean setup. I can't focus when my music room is a mess. It just bothers me. Every time I have to hunt for a cable or part it's allot of work. So I need to setup a cable rack of some sort and get some kind of organization to all the random stuff. But it's way better since I finally got my daughter's toys removed from the room

Diggin the Bigfoot poster, man... My music room's needin an overhaul, bad... My recording computer is currently sitting on my wife's grandfather's old kitchen table... It takes up WAY too much space, but it's too big to fit in the attic, so I gotta figure that out...

But both y'all's places are sharp...

The older I get, the more I subscribe to the "everything in it's place" idea... I used to be the world's worst about puttin CDs and DVDs back in their cases, and I'm a total "EX-smoker" about it now, lol... My kids call me "The Case ****"... Lol...

*Edit- well, let's say they call me "The Case German Idealist Soldier from the 1940's" lol... Good thing I don't like soup with Jerry Seinfeld... Lol...

Yes. I keep my "cool" stuff in one area and my "nerdy" stuff in the other (kind of an allegory?)

    Not seen in my photos:
    1. "I WANT TO BELIEVE" poster
    2. Photograph with Giorgio Tsoukolos
    3. Futurama figurines
    4. Several more guitars/cases/amps I'm trying to find a place for

Love these monitors, problem is my room has no treatment so waves bounce like crazy. So I mix/monitor on my headphones. I consider getting a wall divider of some sort but I know it will be futile so I’ll just mix on headphones for now. At the local music school, they have these free standing rooms that work incredible but they are $6k!

You clean people are hilarious. Here's my work-from-home office, electronics workbench, ham radio shack, and music studio in its usual shape.

I can’t work unless my area is clean. First thing I do is wipe down all the surfaces with a micro fiber and if I’m feeling really cleany, I break out the compressed air can. Don’t worry, I have extras for backup![emoji2958]

I couldn't do anything in there besides break my neck tripping on stuff. I would drag myself across the floor to get my hands of that Strat though. What model is that thing? Great color.

You can't see it for the brown cover, but under the picture of bob is my 76 key Yamaha keyboard and Hammond organ.

Hey Mr Yeats, great collection of gear there. Wish you were my neighbor. Never know when I'm going to need a neck or body.... Or a choice of 50 guitars. Nice !!!
