Any help would be great... I think I got this for a steal with hardshell case. Ive never seen a neck thru telecaster from fender before. It even has some kind of dimarzio humbuckers in it. Its pretty awesome at the styles of music I play and I am very happy with it. Here are some pictures...

This is going to be interesting.

    EDIT

Fender SE Custom Telecaster FMT HH. Appears to be a set neck, not neck through.

Well, it’s an interesting guitar, one I’ve not seen before (although I’m no expert) and these sort of queries can turn into quite the mystery quest around here which is always interesting. I thought it would be more of a challenge to find info about it, though (challenge = interesting, in my world). It’s still interesting, just not much of a challenge.

It’s a Showmaster. No mystery. Great price! I’ve owned a ton of these but can’t remember seeing a black one. Most
Came with SD pickups, some with Dimarzio and a very few had Fender humbuckers.

Wow, that's pretty awesome! I had no idea there were Showmaster Tele models out there, I'm well familiar with their Strat counterparts which are IMO one of the most interesting Squier lines ever.

Going a bit off-topic, I think only recently we've gotten their natural successors with the Contemporary Series. It's very refreshing to see budget-friendly more unconventional variants of Fender instruments, mainly when Squier tends to stay mostly as the maker of affordable traditional Fender models and Fender as a whole has been sticking with the "vintage" thing.

In this case a ton is probably 10. I’ve had about that many of the Strat shaped ones as well.

I like light guitars, those are waaaay out there at 200 pounds each o_O

But seriously, why did you get 10 of the exact same guitar, color notwithstanding. Were you trying to find the "right one", and none was it ? Or you can't help yourself but jump on one when it becomes available ? Extreme GAS syndrome ?

  13. There's a Stratocaster Showwmaster QMT for sale locally $350 CAD / $270 USD, 2004 Korea. Buddy claims it sells for considerably more on EBay etc.
Either way, I'm not in the market for one.
