Of course I'm assuming that will be the winning bid.... Unlikely...

Good you used the correct VM name and not "Classic Vibe"...
Actually it was the series that introduced the Vintage Modified name in the telecaster range, even though the custom and custom II were introduced two years earlier. From this point on they seem tohave been renamed to VM custom and VM Custom II.

There is a VM SH and VM SSH. They have a different truss rod than all the other VM's or Squiers for that matter. I don't exactly know how it's called, but my luthier said that it was certainly different.
The SSH was available in black and white, and the SH in black and red. They all have Duncan Designed pickups...

Even that red one has a beautiful figured neck...

I may have to find one of those!

Interesting. I'm trying to sell the SSH model on Reverb and none of my offers are over $175. Maybe I should try fleabay.

Does the neck have that kind of figuring? Now I'm going to try to find it on Reverb!

I keep some price guidelines for myself, and I pay the following maximum prices: 250/300 for a Classic Vibe, and 150 for a standard, and 100-120 for an Affinity. I think 175 is a fair price.

I'd consider 200 for a more recent VM, but I feel like 175 is spot on in this case. I bought the red one (still brand new) for that price, and didn't pay more than 150 for the other two.

Of course, if I consider the RRP from 2007 (500$) and compare it to the Custom (333$) and Custom II (383$), I can't but feel that it was highly overpriced in 2007, because I don't rate it as high as the Custom and Custom II.

Wasn't me, but someone did get a nice Tele.

Hopefully they'll join this forum and post better pics!
