I know almost zero about art, prints, etc. I do know what suits my eye. This is gorgeous Don. Art worthy.

I have loved the bald eagle all my life. What a comeback they made in North America the past three or four decades! The first I saw in the wild was on Bull Shoals Lake (Ark / Mo state line) around 1985. Circling high, similar to a buzzard, it soon became obvious it was a bald eagle. My bro-in-law and I were bass fishing a big creek channel on a hot afternoon. We watched as it nose-dived toward the calm water. Just before impact it flared and turned talons down, splash!. It did what we had not done the past few hours--caught a bass. Twas a sight I hope I never forget.

Evidently this pic began circulating the twitternet several months ago. Per my usual, I just recently saw it. What little I researched it appears to be real, not photo chopped nor Memorex. ;) bald eagle water.jpg

    Burnin some Nitro...
In the winter time we drive down to Hells Canyon Idaho and you can see a dozen or more Bald Eagles. I get some pics next time we go. Last year we seen 9 in one tree.

  4. If you like the Bald Eagle you'd love it here. I can't go anywhere and not see one. At times you can see upwards of 20 or more perched in the trees together.
Here's a pic I took on my last day at work before retirement, May 18, 2017. A very common sight but I never tire of seeing them.

And the graying down. That little slot between gorgeous autumn and a breath taking winter.

Atwood Navel nearing ripeness. At this point it's mainly appearance, as past experience tells me the fruit is ready, just the rind partially green.

Grabbed this show of our "NC" -- i.e., North Cottage -- early this morning just as the fog was burning off.

I love this place! We used it as a weekend home back when we were 'junior partners' in the property - my son and DIL then owned the bigger portion (and lived int the main house).

Its a bigger place than it appears to be -- that because it is "T" shaped with a large bedroom in the rear in this photo unseen.

Comfy, a bit rugged (but with a jacuzzi!). :) Hey there's "rugged" and there's rugged!

Closed up now for the Winter months to save heating bills. To be fully opened in the Spring.
