Some of the better Gios are pretty OK. I have a GAX-70, sort of a SG clone, and I really like it. Very fast neck and the pickups sound better clean than those on my Squier Bullet Mustang. There are Gios and there are Gios, just like there are Squiers and there are Squiers.

There is only one Ralph124c41, however. Thank goodness.

You tickled my fancy. I'm A big Ibanez fan. If your budget is around $200-$250 RGs are cool.@Eddie. The Price is nice. Is it Korean? I do believe so. SA Series and EX Series Korea are also nice Ed. You may wanna look into them. I never owned a GIO. So I cannot comment on them. I'd stick with anything Ibanez Japan and Korea. Your budget is Korea I believe. As Japan Ibanezs are slightly higher. I saw a Blazer series Ibanez Japan for $200s on Reverb.

The one in the OP isn't bad for $200. If you can find one of the SZ series (320, 520, 720) they're top notch. Korean made and setneck.

This EX Korean is sweet. I paid $65 plus $30 shipping on eBay, it needed a nut. You can find them cheap. I did the sticker inlays.

Thanks guys. Gonna take some time to learn about Ib's. I'll grab one when the lock down is lifted. I wanna do a skin wrap with one. :)

I have a RG421. I like mine. No trem or Floyd Rose. $200 is a good price. Upgraded pickups is a plus.

I had this one and never bonded. It was the only Ibanez I've ever owned. I'd really like to pick up a Tallman if one came up on the cheap. 20190510_170004.jpg

I am assuming you want a shredder type guitar, so I would stick with RG or SA types. The SA is really thin, so you may or may not like it. The one you posted for $200 is a pretty good deal, but it’s a hard tail. If your ok with that, grab it. I personally like a Floyd’s type system on these guitars.

Here is some reading material you.
