The pants "he" is wearing is borderline disturbing.

I'd pay to see those pants.... but I wouldn't want them near a paisley Tele.

The snare drum placement is a bit odd?

Oh, well, since its a 'professional' guitar....

They really did try to go for the Mosrite look, I think. But they blew the tweed imitation. The pants and the drum kit are just a mess. No fixing that.

It's a '70s add though so you probably could have fobbed the pants off on this guy(also a relic from 70s):

I'd say that is a 60's add. Without saying how old I am, I remember going to a local W.T. Grants department store where they sold "Kent" guitars and amps. Kent was a Teisco product, guitars had whammy bars, as many pickups as cars had tires, and more knobs that the cheerleading squad. Amps had spring reverb and 6" speakers. The best part was the "floor models", all plugged in and ready to go. Soon after our weekly expression sessions started, Grants moved the Guitar Dept to the rear of the store, next to the refrigerators and stoves. Bell bottom pants didn't come out for another 5 years.
