I've seen several guitars on GC's sight and wanted to post them here to see if anyone was interested, but I can't seem to download the pics. from there site. Anyone know how?

for most website, you can right click on the image and "open the image in a new tab" - then copy the URL and paste it into the image insert window

right click on the image, "save target as"

if you are on a PC, you can use Snip It to border around an area of the screen and save it as a JPEG. Or the good old Alt + Print Screen, paste it into a Word doc and save it off...

You can also use various extensions, depending upon your browser. For example, I use Chrome and I use Awesome Screenshot. You can also, I think, annotate the selection but I just use the basic functions. In fact I use it all the time to make copies of online receipts of things such as orders, etc.

For example, to this day I still have my copy of my order receipt for a back-ordered item from a major retailer. After waiting two months I was told the retailer "lost" my order and it no longer showed in the company's records. I was told I had thus lost my digital "place in line" and would have to wait another two months or so for the next shipment. I cancelled the order and kept the record to remind me not to ever use this company again for back-ordered items.

Sorry for the rant but this kind of tool can really help you keep track of your online data.

Phones are easy. I'm on an android Galaxy S7, all I do is swipe the side of my hand across the screen and it takes a screen shot.

How do you link the page? The guitar in question was a mij bullet one with hard case for 75.00 so I just bought it, even though I didn't need it. I'll post pics. when it arrives.

Yup, most Samsung's are like that. You may have to turn it on but it's there.

Hey @Hotrodleroy, just copy the website address (or URL) in the top bar by selecting the entire thing then doing Ctrl & C. Then go to where you want to show the link, and do Ctrl & V to paste it in. Not all of us are tech savvy, and as for me I'm not even guitar savvy (which I would much rather be!) Rock on, HRL!

Whatever the URL is in the address bar of your browser when you go to the page for the guitar being sold....you can copy it and paste it in a message....

    that's the link....
