    Le Soleil means The Sun in French. SF is San Francisco. I live in San Francisco.

    'PreviousWallStreetNYCDudeNowVCStuffInSanFranciscoLearningToPlayGuitarAndStuff'
    screen name was too long. :)

    @Kenneth Mountain
    If I wanted a long screen name, I would have just done KennethMountain2.

    Hahahaha hahahaha hahaha

    Before I made it to NeverReach(a 10 year quest) I lived just off Rte. 9W in northern Orange county above West Point for a few years.

    Well my 1st choice was @Ken Mountain, but that was taken. Psycho didn't quite fit, although I suppose that there are a couple that might disagree. So I went with my lifelong pastime, surfing and favorite color. I've been surfing 12 mos a yr in New England forever, until last Fall when my knee blew out. The crowd used to yell "go Steve go" on the biggest hurricane swells, now they just yell "go home". I'm hoping for a comeback this Fall season.

    I left the City a dozen years ago.

    Yeah, the $$$ was great but when you factor in cost of living and state and local taxes, not to mention stress, it wasn't worth it to me and Mrs. Snacker...but I am on the brink of retirement. YMMY

    Where is Never-Reach, NY ? I'm here for another 15-16 years. Then we'll see. But my parents are here. Not sure I want to leave them in their golden years.

    Open your atlas to NYS and look for the longest manual digit. I am somewhere in that vicinity.

    It's beyootiful up here, and for parental visits it takes about 3 1/2 hours to the Tappan Zee. After the Tap, however, you enter 5 Borough traffic.

    I should probably note that if you don't like cold and snow, and...did I mention cold?...NeverReach might not be the place for you. I fell for it and Mrs. Snacker over the same summer.

    Hi, I'm Lars N. Nice to meet y'all!

    I'm not Lars Ulrich, and I'm not responsible for what happened to Napster. :)

    Funny. I was in Columbia, SC once for a meeting.
    Everyone was saying stuff about USC. I kept thinking "University of Southern California... The Trojans". Yes, great school.

    Yeah.. NOT that.
    They were, of course, referring to 'University of South Carolina' (USC). Hahahaha

    Yes, but heck, there were/are lots of triples including the current Triumph Speed Triple and Rocket III, but the Kawasaki triples do have a prominent place in history.

    @Eddie

    Ok Eddie. You have extra "wafer thin mints". I'll PM you my address. You may mail them to me. Regular first class mail is fine. No rush :)

    I haven't modified any guitar yet, so send supplies. :)

    <————- I was fooling about with a couple of Classic Vibe Telecasters and my name is Stephen (but only my ex-wives call me that), so Steve.

    I am sometimes called other things at other places.

    Mine's not an accurate representation anymore. I'll change it if i have to, but I'm not going back to only having 5. Great thread, keep it going.

    Tell me about it. I was riding my BSA Thunderbolt 650 one day in 1970 and this Kaw 500 triple pulls up next to me at a light. Well the BSA was no plow dragger but when the light went green, all I saw was taillight and a bit of blue smoke....My first encounter with the Kaw triple.
