I just got a hot rails strat yesterday and while I love the pickups, and the neck is very nice, I do believe I would like this guitar better if it had a gloss maple neck... And I know a lot, if not most of you seem to prefer the satin finish... So I was thinking maybe someone with a nice CV or VM gloss neck might want to trade for my neck.... It is in excellent condition. 1520966691757.jpg 1520966696182.jpg 1520966702554.jpg 1520966708224.jpg 1520966806528.jpg

How much would you want in a sale in case a trade doesn't work out?

I'm not really looking to sell it unless I have a neck to replace it. It's just fine for me, I was just hoping something might make 2 different folks feel like they got more of what they want. I'm not sure how the different necks are valued, but I'm all about making it fair all around.

Don't get discouraged it may just take a week or more to find someone. May be a little harder because it seems like for each maple/maple necked strat there are 10 or 20 maple/rosewood strats out there. I may be wrong but it seems like it.

Is it the look or feel that you are after?

Honestly both, I suppose. I have the maple/maple gloss on my CV60 and 72 Dlx, and they are by far my favorite necks to play. The Dlx is beefy, and the CV is slim, and I friggin love both of them.
