Recently I posted on my new Bullet + P90s mod.

    http://www.squier-talk.com/threads/modding-cob-bullet-with-p90s.150211/

It presently has the white standard Fender knobs, which I don't mind.

However, gold, cream and black all look good to me, too.

I'm leaning toward gold, they pick up the gold flecks in the pickguard and they look like cufflinks ;) These ones are off my Ibanez, Gibson-style.

But black matches the pups and cream matches the body.

The black and cream knob photos are my poor MS Paint jobs, hence you'll have to use your imagination a little …

    What would you choose?
Thanks in advance for your participation!

I usually like the knobs and switch tip to match the pickup covers, but in your case I like the gold best..

Agree Papa Joe, will try to source a gold tip, or otherwise cream, if I go with the gold.

Or maybe a black tip with gold knobs would be better, just to 'hide' it more?

the gold LP style knobs look surprisingly good on that.

I'd go with that or if you go black, two of these would look good

I've got a guitar knob fetish kinda. I am always trying out different knobs on my Jagmaster and Tele. I've even used Pioneer stereo knobs at one point. I have a bunch lying around and just ordered two of these to try on the Tele

    Very cool!

I'm also thinking something non-standard. I have some 1/2 inch cubes of dark stone (maybe granite) that I use in my scotch as non-melting ice cubes - might try drilling a hole in one of those for some extra 'rock' tone ;)

I very like the look of some knobs you can buy from a shop called "lucas guitar" on amazon. They have the standard strat knobs but the letters are a tiny bit smaller and thinner than on most knobs. I very like that look. Also the number "0ne" on the knobs is written "1" and not just a straight "I". These knobs are also perfect replacements for JV owners as they are the same and they also are made in Japan.

    Classy, that’s nice.

Interesting how one can spend years never thinking about things like knobs and then all of a sudden it seems to be the focus of the appearance of the guit.

It’s like an accessory that can add some style and personalization. Like a pair of glasses, or a goatee :)

I guess I'm the outlier, 'cause I like the cream ones. Gibson knobs just don't look right on a Fender style guitar IMO.

Gold with that pickguard. Nice other guitars in that photo, by the way.
