Here's my find for today; a Peavey Raptor 1! Don't know a lot about the Raptor series but have heard a lot of good things said about them. Garage sale finds can be pretty cool. If any out there have one or several, please weigh in. Would like to know how to find a manufacture date, parts, etc. (Why people throw the trem bar away is beyond me!) Needs a good scrubbing. Will post more pics as things progress. Also awaiting another project that will get it's own thread....stay tuned! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
HNGD! I have flipped a couple Raptors over the years, do not recall a "1". I never did any parts modding, can't help ya there. Just clean, set up, flip. I may have a trem bar for ya. I usually take 'em off and do not give the buyer unless they ask. Once I had a buyer complain the tuners were bad when they were wearing out the whammy with new strings.
I kinda knew that but 4hat doesn't bother me. If it is, it must be Baltic cause its heavy as all gitout! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Cool! Of all the non Fender headstocks, that Peavey is one of my favorites. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If you can use 'em you can have all. It is OK to laugh, I laugh at myself all the time. But I am very forgetful. I do not remember details on why I have a HSS 3 ply pickguard (bought on sheBay) and saddles. I tagged the saddles with "Raptor EXP" and "odd size screws". See why I laugh? The bar pictured--once again I believe it was on a Peavey. It is very small diameter, 4mm as best as I can measure (possibly 4.5 mm). Shoot me a message if you want any or all of this. I literally forgot I had it until seeing your NGD.
