Argh !! I was eyeing this a few weeks ago.

But since, I've spent a bucketload of money. Heck, even last night I was eyeing a semi-hollow.

    Should I or shouldn't I ???

Eddie. You Should. Life is too short for not playing the guitar you want to play

I have some stuff on sale. If one sells, then I'll get a Firefly. :)

No new money. If I want something new, I'll have to move something old.

Fingers x’ed - I also followed the one comes in one goes out rule for a while. Until I started missing the ones that went out. I have to sell some sooner or later but I clinch to them as long as there are enough guitar stands in the apartment…

Anyway ... if you get the Firefly tell us all about it!

I've seen some good reviews on those on YT. I have a soft spot for a pretty semi-hollow body. Go for it!

Wow, what a deal. So is it worth the squeeze? How’s the tone?

I've got a Transparent Red and a Blueburst. I use mine quite a bit and really like them. What a deal for a semi-hollow body! 040.JPG

Eddie, the last two times they were available, they sold out fast.

I've already got 3 semi-hollows, an Ibanez, a Gretsch Electromatic and a Yamaha, so I don't need another one. But, if they were to offer a decent full sized jazz box or a 12 string in roughly the same price range I'd be sorely tempted.

I don't know about Epiphone sized, but they are slightly smaller than a Gibson ES-335. Also, my two Fireflys measure different from each other, but both are close to Gibson sized.

Thanks. The smaller ES-339 body fits me better. Too bad, because this is a great deal. OTOH, I just saved $139.91.

I know. I'm GASing for one. But I spent a ton of money these past few weeks. I put some stuff up on the bay. If one sells, then I'm ordering one right away.

It is right between a 335 and a 339 as far as width goes, which is perfect. They went fast this time - blue did not last 24 hours.

They’ll be back in November, I’d imagine. They seem to follow a somewhat typical cycle with regard to Chinese goods, although more typically you see this with counterfeit items. As this is the second time I’ve bought one, I’ve noticed that each time the shipping is super fast, and that’s because the goods have already reached their distribution points - This after literally being on a slow boat from China, which often is three months or so in transit. Upon and only upon arrival, they are offered for sale, they sell out quickly and the seller goes underground until the next run arrives. I’d imagine November’s run will be hitting the high seas soon.

Thanks. Maybe I'll try one the next time around, if price is the same.. If it doesn't fit me, I'm sure an S-T member will take it off my hands.

I bought one last night - black for me. Never heard of them before reading this - but I had to have it. And at the same don't need it at all. Thanks for posting this. Thanks a lot. I mean it.
