Well after @Treynor posted the G&L Tele while going home from vacation and had a chance to stop at a Guitar Center to find out they didn’t have them in stock.:( The guy told me he could order it for me. I told him I’m from out of town and the nearest GC is 250 miles away. So I looked around and found me a travel guitar, got a 16% discount and came away with my new Jim Dandy:) 91E2D773-EFE5-495A-809B-89C3EB87812C.jpeg

I’ve strummed one a time or two, sounded good to my ears. HNGD!

Very cool! I love all of the retro parlors that have come out in the past few years. The sound of my dirt cheap Recording King Harmonella always impresses me.

    HNGD!

I think the Jim Dandy is perhaps the best new sub $200.00 acoustic guitars. I have a Gretsch G5024E Rancher Acoustic Electric and after dickering with MF, I bought it with a nice tweed case for about $350.00. It's the best Acoustic I have ever played under $1000.00 with the exception of one Breedlove, but it was $800.00.

The Jim Dandy is a cool little travel guitar - I was akeen to buy one, since the LH convertibility was easy (the scratch plate is gently sticked on)... Small but sweet sounding !

    Good choice !

But do not electrify it... What for ?

    A+!

Your like me,, when I got money in my pocket I'll find something to buy... Lots of different pickups for the acoustic,, from ultra cheap piezo to expensive sound hole active humbuckers.. Looks like fun experimenting with them.. Enjoy the new toy..

Look no further than a K&K Mini. Most recommended, by far, on the Acoustic Guitar Forum.

These look cool. But is it cool enough for the Honky Tonk Man to smash over an opponent's head?
