Yeah, they are all $349, so why is that store charging $50 more? I wouldn't buy anything from them, marking up products to prices higher than MAP. That's just not only greedy, but also really dishonest and sleazy.

This is nit picky but still interesting. It looks like this one has an original CV50s pickguard. All the pics I’ve seen of the new ones have the screw closest to the switch in the correct position for a 50s pickguard, while this one has it at the 6:00 position from the switch like the originals do.

GC had it listed at 350 (get one of those holiday 15% off coupons, comes down to ~300), I believe they were available in early November '19, but I had to wait till mid-month to get one shipped. No tuning issues so far, FWIW.

You guys can ignore the price tag on the one I posted as it was completely marked incorrectly. I pointed out to the Sam Ash employee that this obviously wasn't a telecaster like the price tag said. ;-)

The finish on the one that I saw looked very similar to this one AndOR posted.

Squier saddles! That is one sharp strat. Looks like a wide neck too.

Wait, is that inspired by the Mary Kaye Strat?? That's so rad, even the translucent finish is there!

I really love your Strat but it's a limited FSR model from the original China production, not the latest batch.

I would like to see them once again offer the gold hardware on the blonde finish now that it seems to be a standard color for the CV line.

You do understand MAP stands for Minimum Advertised Price (the lowest price the manufacturer allows the retailer to advertise)?

(even though it's not relevent in this case due to an incorrect price tag) I don't see where advertising a product for a higher price than your competitors is greedy, dishonest, or sleazy (but would certainly tend to make the product harder to sell lol)
