Would you sell the loaded pickguard separate? I would be interested.

The neck is nice for sure.. very little wear at all.

The guitar weighs 7 pounds 11 ounces just the way you see it.

It really is a great sounding, nice playing axe..I just don't need 3 Strats.
My other 2 are much more upgraded and I just can't get rid of either of them.

I will part this one out if nobody is interested in the whole thing..

Body with all hardware, bridge, jack etc for $40
Neck with the GFS replacement tuners and NC neckplate for $75
Loaded original pickguard aged to a nice cream color for $35
Loaded mint green pickguard with CV50's pickups and electronics for $65

Prices include shipping in the lower 48

Or.. buy the whole guitar for $150 shipped in a padded gig bag with the CV50's guard in it. :)

Would really like to move this guitar..

How about $140 shipped for everything?
Meaning you'll get the guitar as pictured, PLUS the original loaded pickguard and gig bag.

Upgraded tuners, Classic Vibe pickups and electronics, 3 ply mint guard.. It's gotta be worth what I'm asking?

Does this guitar have a set-up? Intonation, etc.?

I paid the local music store $50 to set it up after I assembled it..
(when I got it the seller shipped it with the neck off)

I added the Classic Vibe stuff and the tuners then they set it up..

That said, I'm not a gigging pro or anything like that.. All I know is the
action is med/low and once you tune it, the same note rings on any given
string open and up at the 12th fret dead on whether fretted or the harmonic.

I suppose any guitar could be set up better to an individuals taste, but
this one is certainly playable the way it is.

I'm the person that you got the guitar from. I bought it from someone else, then traded it to you. Maybe you'd better go get your fifty bucks back from that music shop. Looking at the photo of the bridge, the saddles all being perfectly lined up, that's exactly how it was when I shipped it to you.

It's a rare Stratocaster, that will have acceptable intonation on all six strings, with all six saddles all adjusted the same.

Not saying it's not possible, just not common.

OK... so how would one know if intonation was not acceptable ?

Maybe I'm enough of a hack that I don't fully understand what 'intonation' accomplishes.

I was under the impression that if intonation was set, once the guitar is tuned up and each open string rings true, that you then check each string at the 12th to see if they are dead on true as well??

Looking at my other 2 strats, there is some amount of stagger to the saddles on each of them.. one more than the other, but my 'Crash 1' replica has hardly any stagger and it's also dead on.

Sorry I didn't remember getting it from you.. Wondering why you would even bring it up in my for sale thread.. It's a good playing guitar, it sounds great with the CV 50's setup in it, and it played and sounded a whole lot better after I got it back from the music shop so I was satisfied.. and I imagine if someone was to buy this Strat, they would be as well.

Because I was thinking about buying it back and was wondering if you had it set up. Was surprised to see the saddles in what looks like the exact same position as when I shipped you the guitar. That's how they were when I got it. I guess it's possible that's simply the adjustment that gave good intonation. Any good Strat set-up would include adjusting the saddles for string height and intonation. That shop made an easy fifty bucks if they didn't have to adjust the saddles as part of the set-up.

I've seen them straight across and intonated every now and then! Just one of those things I guess. Nice guitar by the way!

    Nice amp video! :D

Well worth the asking price when you figure in the CV 50s electronics, new tuners, etc.

    Not to mention the $50.00 set-up! :)

Price lowered to $100 for the guitar as pictured in a gig bag..

You pay actual shipping amount (probably $15 - $22)
I can get you a quote based on your zip code.

That's not surprising. You have to practically give something away around here to move it. Your advertised price here was very fair. :)

Just read almost any "For Sale" ad here....a bunch of posts that read....."Yeah, I'd definitely buy this if only....."

Somebody got themselves a nice Bullet for a good price. :)

It was a steal. If I wasn't putting together almost the same thing right now, it would be mine.
