Finished guitar day. I have posted these on other forums but some of you I am sure you haven't seen. I build stuff out of popsicle sticks including, model cars, trucks, trains, planes, and just about anything you can think of. Well here is my latest project and again this is completely out of popsicle sticks..... "SicleStix"

That's a beautiful guitar. Do you collect the sticks, or buy them in bulk?

I love it... Excellent work! It looked like bamboo to me on first glance.
How much does a Telecaster built out of popsicle sticks weigh?

    Nice work.

I'll never complain about the labor involved in working on a guitar again.

    Wow! What creativity and workmanship!

  9. At first I wondered if you'd eaten all those popsicles … would've cost you a grand for that many.:D
That is truly a work of art … insane.

Congrats on the Ryobi award. I can see why it was given to you, Cheers and thanks, Barrie.

Actually quite heavy, and it is identical to my Epi LP. 9.2 lbs. But I like that because I play sitting down.

I don't care who you are, that was funny. lol it is ash. Popsicle sticks would be far too fragile with all the glue joints so I wouldn't trust it. "not sure" but wasn't going to take a chance so I added a 1/2" strip of ash around the second layer. White birch is actually a fine grained hardwood but again I was afraid the glue joints would have disrupted that so to speak...:)

I love it!!! You were definitely right to share it here too....
Those "other" forums would probably get all up on their high-horses about tonewood properties of lollipop sticks lol.

    Top marks!
