The one review of these on GC site is sure lukewarm. I'd want to hear more. Is still a great price if they are decent.

pickups are funny...you never know the "tone" until you hook up to your amp setup..and put "your" fingers to the strings....

Seen quite a few reviews on Fender's "Road Worn" Teles, which use the Tex-Mex pups. People seem to like them just fine. The videos I saw sounded pretty nice.

I love the Tex Mex for Tele, Strat not so much. If I had a Tele I'd be getting a set.

Good price, I love my Tex Mex Stratocaster pups. Too close to Christmas or I might buy some myself for my Squier Standard, never been thrilled with the stock pups.

I've got Tex Mex pickups in a Strat and a Tele and am more than happy with both. Smooth at the neck and plenty of twang at the bridge. Good solid value on a Fender brand set.

If anyone out there has a Squire Jaguar, Amazon has '65 vintage Jaguar pickups ($135.00 on the Fender web site) for $61.00 plus tax. I ordered a set for mine.

What a great deal! Haven't found any way to buy those over here without paying about twice as that. What a bummer...

I got mine in the middle of last month and I got them installed yesterday.

The stock Bullet Tele pups sounded really good once they were adjusted right. Still a bit bright, but tight lows and a bit of a mid scoop. Very clear, almost to a fault.

The TexMex pups have a fuller, slightly fatter tone and the little added gain I wanted. They have the glassy highs, but not ice-picky. Not Tele Twang, but a fat single coil tone. These are a good budget choice for Blues, Rock, Pop or P&W.

I feel it was the right choice for my taste.

I just put a Tex Mex in the neck of my player pack Affinity Tele a few weeks ago. It sounds fantastic!

I have Tex mex pu's in my road worn tele and like them. No desire to change them.
