I've been battling with Sacro-Iiliac (hip bone connected to the back bone) joint pain for over three weeks. It's been murder sitting or standing for any period of time and I haven't felt like playing my guitar either. Until today. The third course of Prednisone seems to be doing the trick. It feels so good to pick up a guitar again.

    Glad you're feeling better. :)

I'm feeling good also. 2 weeks and 2 days until Christmas break. :)

I'm hearing you QuietOne. I had the same problem in late summer. I woke up with tremendous pain which didn't leave for about 3 weeks. Man, did that hurt.
Glad to hear you're on the mend!!!

BTW I love your cat photo. Is he/she still with you???
Reminds me of my first feline friend, no, more than a friend, a pure love between human and animal.

Welcome back. Enjoy while you can for as long as you can. When your back/hips are in extreme pain, no position feels good. It can be frustrating with the time & desire to play but your body will not get with the program.

I'm going to physiatrist (doctor specializing in injury rehabilitation) next week. This has happened to me before and I'm hoping she can get me into more specific PT program that will help prevent it. I wouldn't wish this on anybody. I had major abdominal surgery 35 years ago and that hurt less than this does. I hope you're well soon.
