I don't believe that I've seen a thread asking members to post pics of their favorite guitar from each family. By family I mean Strat, Tele, LP, SG, ES (hollow or semi-hollo), etc. No duplicates please. Only your favorite from each family.

    Here's mine L to R:
2011 Fender 60s Classic Series in Burgundy Mist
2018 Fender Telecaster Modern Player Plus in Faded Charcoal
2000 Epiphone Les Paul Standard in Wine Red
2017 Epiphone ES335 Pro in Vintage Sunburst

Nice family Tim. Last night I deleted a whole bunch of pictures including family pics to make room for my flight simulator coming.

This is going to be a fun thread. Thanks for starting it!

For me there are six guitars that every collection should have. Now this does not include bass guitar or acoustics. Everyone should have those as well! LOL! But everyone should have a Les Paul, an SG, a semi-hollow, a Strat, a Tele, and a shredder ( flat radius with hot pickups and a Floyd ). So here are my favorites of those categories.

Why has this thread fallen to page two? Most of us are stuck at home with nothing to do. Should be easy to tell us what each collection should have and show us pics of what your favorites are! LOL! Show us your guitars!

Exactly. I need the SG and, well, my shredder is in the kitchen...
    Which Epiphone is that?

It’s a Sheraton II. Great guitar.

I'll get mine up in a little while, but it's curious, we're a Squier-Talk, but all I'm seeing are high priced Fenders. No Squiers anywhere.

The Strat in my picture is a Squier.

Nah... cheap Fenders. $300 for the Burgundy Mist 60s (with Fender HSC) and only $250 for the Modern Player with HSC. So both were much less than a new CV.

O.K. my mistake. Hard to read in that picture, at least on my laptop.

And now for mine. Two pictures.

    1st.
Jay Turser 335 copy with P90's.
NC6 Bullet Series with Rose Heritage, Heritage, Robusta.
YN7 Affinity Telecaster, Stock pickups, full size body.
    Austin Super-6 '56

    0325202048.jpg 2nd.
Jay Turser JT200Pro, Ibanez DC copy
    Washburn Maverick BT2 offset
    Peavey Limited ESP Super Strat

For what it's worth, choosing between my YN7 Affinity and my FSR Bullet was tough. The Bullet has by far the best pickups, Retrotrons, while the YN7 is the better player.

That's a beautiful Blue LP, dbrian. Do you have other close-up pictures to check that burst? Or is it a light effect?

It’s actually a hard guitar to photograph. Not sure why. Here are a few I found in my camera roll.

Now, now, this is supposed to be just your favorite from each type. Only one Strat, Tele, LP, etc.
But a really nice family just the same! That flame honey-gold LP with gold hardware is KILLER!

My favorites tend to vary with the music I'm playing, but here are the current most played in each family. Sorry about the mobile phone pic, but I don't have access to a quality camera at the moment.

Back row, left to right: Lead, 1981 Fender Lead II ('72 Tele Deluxe neck, SD Custom Shop X-1 in bridge); Explorer, 2002 Ibanez Destroyer (Super Distortion in bridge); ES-335, 2005 Epiphone Dot (SD Seth Lovers); Les Paul, 2006 Epiphone Elitist Les Paul Custom (SD P-Rails w/ Triple Shot rings)
Front row, left to right: Mahogany back/Maple top semi-hollow, Rockabilly?, 2012 Epiphone Wildkat Royale; Stratocaster, 2020 Fender Limited Edition HM Strat

I will field questions and I may ask a few as I watch this thread.
