    Hi guys and girls...
Everything was fine, I was going through life just minding my own business, happily playing my Ibanez, when the sickness crept in. I found myself thinking about Telecasters. At first, I tried to push the thoughts out. Then I found myself lurking the internet, looking at images I never thought I would seek out. I was always ambivalent, at best, about these...
Then I saw it. The gold on gold was the antithesis of everything I was about. I knew I had to have it.
Turns out I was so wrong. I had to have THEM.
It's a sickness, for sure. And there's no cure, only ongoing treatment.
So, here we are. I'm hoping I've established a base, and I'll be satisfied with further modding of what I've got here, with the help of a strong, knowledgeable support group. But I suspect it is the hope of the hopeless... 20190211_214327.jpg

Nice collection! Teles tend to be habit forming but it's an enjoyable addiction. Welcome!

Snivlem, that J5 is beautiful. I thought about a white pearloid pg for my blackie as well, as my uncle had a thinline with the same treatment when I was a kid. But the gold on black nightmares wouldn't go away if I didn't make it happen. I'm gonna try and be happy just knowing yours is out there.

You can be on your own or run with the pack, but once you get a taste there's no turning back. But the good news is you can totally avoid rehab by throwing yourself into PREHAB. And seriously, don't you dig the way a Tele with two humbuckers punches?
