Like 1/8 inch bit or maybe a bit smaller. Drill Into the plastic dot. Then twist in a good size screw a few threads and use the screw to pop/pry old dot. Then clean hole and dab glue and new dot. Leave a little proud the then file and sand and re oil

I always wanted to do dots with abalone, paint stripper will eat plastic dots! Strippers beware! I use only modern dots, red, yellow and green!

Cool upgrade. Was it difficult to level once installed?

Super nice touch on this. Great way to dress it up. Your fingerboard looks well cared for, too.

Well. I roughed er a little using the file and paper. Someone asked earlier about the ease of leveling. Not hard. Good file. But I would use electrical tape next time to mask the board a bit better. The file kinda gets theu the green painter tape quick.

Man. I'm crazy about this axe. I bonded it with it immediately. Way harder than the $900 plus top pro I had earlier this year. Got that LP for 110. Have gutted it and bought awesome zebras for it. And tuners. And nut.
