I was thinking I would wait til the weekend to work on modding this new SE I got yesterday -- but I got itchy and started last night. Working from home today allowed me to finish up e-thing this morning ... just gotta do a full set-up

Started w/ this beat-up SE I got yesterday for $30:

I had a nice PG loaded w Tex-Mex Alnicos (always nice to NOT have to purchase stuff for a mod!!)

I wanted to try "blocking" the trem (my other Strat trems are all floating)

and, finally - since it was so beat up already, and only cost $30 in total, I went on a sticker assault ....

In the spirit of the lower east side CBGBs punk scene of my youth, I present "OMFUG":

That’s cool! Loving the stickers. The wiring on the pickgaurd looks real nice too. Did you wire it yourself?

nope, cant take credit for that wiring (mine is usually much messier, lol) - The pickups and controls were originally the stock stuff from a Road Worn 60s Strat that I swapped in a full loaded PG on. This is the 3rd guitar these guts have been in - transferred them over intact each time, only had to solder in the jack and ground to trem claw

    Agreed, buddy!!

Didn’t really have an appropriate one in the pile, lol. Gotta do some searching - if I gotta BUY one it may ruin the budget!

played her for a while tonight -- tuning was rock solid, and I do not think I am going to have to mess w/ anything!

These SE necks are so nice! :)
