    Lots of confusing info on the net. Picked up one today for almost nothing. What year is this?

  2. C = Cor -Tek
    N = 90's
    First digit is the year 2 = 1992

    Thanks. Got it all cleaned up but I'm not wasting a set of strings on these crap tuners.

    the body is most likely laminate....these usually go for about $100-150 US I believe @Lonn

    the necks on these are usually quite nice

    Solid wood on this one and I was actually amazed at how precise the routing is. Meant to take a pic but got lazy.

    Wow! Never seen a CN2 in my life with solid wood, must be a fluke!

  7. I never recall the Korean "plywood years". It was just a couple of years on these right? Anyone know?

    1988/89 to 1994/95ish if I remember correctly - when I say 88/89 I mean the S serials not the E, those were made by Young Chang.

  10. Ahh … so more than just a couple of year then. Thanks.
    This one appears to be smack dab in the middle of production. I would have thought that being a solid wood body it might have been on the early or end of those years.

    Cheers, Barrie.

    Wasn't going to be but my Acura broke an axle this evening. At least I hope that's all it is. Already sold the Marshall Micro Stack and that lot of guitar parts is spoken for. Hopefully that'll be enough for the repair. The FSR 50s Classic Strat I bought from GC online used also showed up today but I'm going to keep that and try and sell my Peavey Blues Classic 50.

    Sorry about the car. Dealing With the same stuff on one of my cars. On the other side, I can't believe you sold that Marshall already. One day? It's a hotbed of activity where you are.
