That's a nice looking Thin line, But I prefer the more traditional lip stick and single coil style. That body is very nice.

I've never seen a tele with a lipstick pickup... I'm pretty sure it's not traditional.

The VM 72 Thinline is one of the nices teles in the Squier range.

I had a VM thinline that was awesome.
traded it for a gibson sg, and immediately regretted it.

Now I have store credit and I'm considering another, but I can't use credit on used so I'd have to go CV. Not sure if I want to do that as I'd be comparing it to the superior model all the time.

I think he's talking about the "traditional" Telecaster neck pickup, that is covered by a shiny silver tube. They're not as rounded as the typical lipstick-style PU's, but they're close enough to be called the same thing.

The VM that I'm considering is an Indo 2015.

I know that's what was meant, but a telecaster neck pickup cannnot be called a lipstick pickup.

Thanks folks, for all of the input.I went with the VM '70s. I would have preferred a burst but the ash is pretty nice.

    Only one complaint though.

Here's my 2017 Squier Vintage Modified Thin-Line Telecaster in 3TSB. One of my prettiest guitars for sure. Lovin' that ash body!

Nice job on the song Stanze and welcome to Squier-Talk!

Beautiful grain on your guitar. I would have preferred a burst finish but they don’t often show up around here.

I didn't get a chance to try that one before it sold. It was sure pretty but I'm glad I went with the more traditional '70s style.

I havent seen too many Teles with P90s.. The ones they put in the Prs copies @ Harley Benton are nice sounding. Most I'm seeing are in Lp Type guitars..

I could always try humbucker size P90s in this pickguard whereas with the P90 equipped one I would need to change the pickguard if I wanted to put in humbuckers.

I put some Tonerider P90s in the Strat in my avatar. Not sure what I think of them. Different for sure.
