Well, they're $1,000 new. If I were in the market for one, I'd want more off than 10% for a used one, but I guess he might be planning to dicker.

I don't think I'd ever be in the market for a kilobuck 5w amp without so much as a tone control though. :)

But the volume goes up to 12. That's... one more than 11.

They're going for $780 online used, tops. How low would a potential buyer have to start on an initial offer to land there?

That's a nice amp but too much for me! I'd go with the Princeton reissue for the same price new! Oh yeah, that's out of my range also!

90% of new value isn't a good deal. He'll be keeping it forever.

    According to the seller:

I know nothing about it only I have had it quite a while now.

That sure makes me confident about the sale.

  14. The first three words tell it all … "I know nothing..." Cheers, Barrie. ;)

A $75 Peavey Raptor he knows nothing about

I would hope for more consistency in his ignorance.

I'm gonna try this one day. I'm gonna put up my $58 GLarry bass, sand off the logo, and sell it as a $2000 custom built bass.
