Can i swap the bridge of an contemporary strat hss for a Fender american standard?

    What title says, and, what are good locking tuners for a contemporary?

    No, the post spacing is different. The Fender is 56mm and the Squier is 63mm.

    MK already said no on the bridge, and what do you mean "good" locking tuners? Do you mean drop in with no modification or do you mean what do I think is good?

    Locking tuners won't help tuning stability, they only make for quicker string changes. Are you having tuning issues? Most people who mention bridge and tuners do......and think that's the solution but it isn't. A good setup, proper nut slot filing / lubing, and strings fully stretched are what help.....

    I'm not sure how many pins Contemporary tuners have, so the only suggestion I can make with 100% certainty is the Hipshot tuners with the UMP thing they came up with.
